Our MC and Director of Access and Inclusion Amari is on the leadership team of several youth leadership nonprofits. Here in the Chicagoland area, she is highly involved with HOBY ILN & sits on the Board of Directors for Operation Snowball.
Amari was a 2016 HOBY ambassador and is currently pursuing a degree in education.
Our Program Director Kevin graduated from NIU with two masters degrees: Sport and Exercise Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He has consulted with athletes from a variety of age ranges and skill level; from youth and collegiate level to internationally elite level.
While he did not attend HOBY as an ambassador, he began volunteering with HOBY ILN in 2016, and has never looked back!
Our Leadership Seminar Chair and Operations Director Carly is a Sign Language Interpreter. She trained in Human and Educational Services at ISU, and received her licenses as an ASL interpreter from the College of DuPage.
Carly was a 2008 HOBY ambassador and her new son will someday be a 2038 ambassador!

Our Director of Staff Rachel is a PhD candidate at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. She studies cellular and molecular pharmacology, and her research is focused on the neural mechanisms underlying anxiety.
Rachel was a HOBY ambassador in 2012.
